Leadership Statement

BTech provides high performance underwater acoustic transducers to the US Navy and various ocean technology-driven organizations. Since 1999, BTech has established its role as a premier developer of sonar technologies. Our founder, Dr. David A. Brown, has been focused in the field of transducer development for more than 35 years. Our Senior Engineer, Dr. Corey Bachand, has more than 20 years of experience in sonar transducer and electronic system design, fabrication and testing. Our team works on many complex electro-acoustic problems and systems integration including countermeasures, sidescan sonar, spiral-wave navigation beacons and more. We also develop engineering prototypes and support calibration and field testing.

BTech operates in facilities located in Fall River, MA and Barrington, RI.
